1.  Tell us what inspired you to become a professional musician?
Growing up, I was always surrounded by music. My dad is an amazing guitar player, and my brother is a drummer. Ever since I was little, I'd always play music with them. They definitely inspired me to pursue music professionally and always gave me the confidence that I could achieve my goals in music. I also have distinct memories when I was younger of going to the local CD store with my dad every Friday to purchase a pop album. My dad always encouraged me to learn all of the songs on these albums and this helped inspire my sound and development as a vocalist.

2.  How did you develop your sound and vocal style?  What instruments do you play?

I developed my sound and vocal style by copying my favorite pop artists. At first, I was always just mimicking their tone and vocal style, but through this process, I eventually found my sound and vocal style. I also took voice lessons all throughout my childhood, so this heavily influenced my sound as well. I also play piano.

3.  What advice do you have for others who want to turn their dreams into reality?

Consistency is key and don't ever give up because you never know when that one song will break your career! The first 10 songs I released didn't get any attention, but once I started getting consistent with my releases and putting all of my energy into music, that's when things really picked up.

4.  What inspired you to lead a healthy lifestyle?

Growing up, my parents were always into nutrition and leading a healthy lifestyle, so that influenced me a lot. I always ate natural whole foods and at an early age, my parents stressed the importance of avoiding processed foods and eating a whole foods-based diet. At around 12 years old, I stopped eating meat and fish and that's when my plant-based journey started. Ever since I went plant based, I've been passionate about eating clean.

5.  How does health and wellness contribute to your vocal health?

It's honestly everything. Since my instrument is my body, I have to be diligent in taking care of it. I have to make sure I'm getting an adequate amount of sleep, so my voice isn't tired and it's ready to sing. I also have to make sure I'm eating clean and hydrating well, especially on the days when I have to record or perform live. I incorporate E3Live into my vocal/health routine every day and it helps my overall health and vocal health!

6.  What is your go-to healthy meal?

Anything with avocado! I love a grain bowl with roasted veggies, avocado and beans. Another one of my go-to meals are big salads with a ton of different greens and plant-based proteins like quinoa, lentils or tempeh.

7.  When did you first learn about E3Live superfoods?

I learned about it in college when I first went to a nutritionist to ensure I was eating a balanced plant-based diet. She recommended E3Live because it has B vitamins, essential amino acids and omegas. Since many plant-based eaters are deficient in a lot of these nutritional areas, I wanted to find a supplement that can help with this. That's when I looked into E3Live and started incorporating it into my wellness routine!

8.  What E3Live superfoods do you take and what benefits do you feel?

I take the BrainON and E3Camu Camu. I feel a big difference from taking your products! I feel a lot more energized when I take E3Live superfoods, I definitely get sick less frequently and it helps my immune system.  Overall, I feel like it greatly helps my nutritional intake from the vitamins/minerals that can sometimes be lacking from a plant-based diet.

9.  What are your top 5 health and wellness tips?

  1. Make sure to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night!
  2. Try to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday.
  3. Stick to a whole food based diet with little to no processed foods.
  4. Exercise as much as you can to reduce your stress levels and feel good about your body.
  5. Make time for yourself and spend quality time with friends and family.

10.  Tell us about your newly released EP and what's next for you in music.
The full EP is out now. So far, I've released 3 singles off the EP and the next song, Old Me comes out soon! I've worked on this album for about 3 years, so I'm so excited that it's finally out and people get to learn a bit more about me through my original music. This record is really special to me because it's the first time I've released original music so it's the start of a new musical journey for me. I can't wait to continue releasing original music and hopefully go on tour sometime next year!
