Marina has been teaching people how to play the piano almost as long as she's been playing it herself – which is pretty much her entire life. In her career as a professional musician, she has been an accompanist for opera and musical theater, a lounge pianist, a church musician and band leader, a choir director, a chamber music collaborative artist, music director for dozens of musical theater productions, backup singer and keyboardist for a rock band touring throughout the U.S. and Mexico, arranger for piano and vocal ensemble music, and a creator of online tutorials and courses that have helped thousands of people around the world learn to read music, play the piano, and express their inner artist through the medium of music. In between her gigs, Marina spent a short stint working for the CEO of E3Live. Staying healthy and energized are top priorities. We check in with Marina about her love for music, health and E3Live!


Tell us about your journey as a musician and what keeps you inspired?
Music has been a part of my life, my entire life. There is no "before music" when I think back to my childhood. So, when I go a day or two without playing, I don't feel like I'm me. I guess that's my biggest inspiration. I want to feel that I am expressing who I am and why I'm here, and music is the direct path to that.


What is the number one piece of advice you would give to anyone who has a dream and wants to accomplish it?
Nobody else but you needs to believe that you can accomplish it. The world will tell you why it can't be done, even people who love you may give you well-meaning advice to "be realistic." But none of that matters. What matters is that you define what you want, figure out what you need to do to get it, then be willing to show up, day after day, year after year, and put in the time and the work. The bigger the dream, the more focused you need to be.


How did you become inspired to live a healthy lifestyle?
I know that when I eat the right kinds of food, move my body every day, get fresh air, feed my mind with quality information, and spend time with people who nurture my soul, my life is just better in every way. Whenever I deviate from this formula, I notice the negative effects right away, and that's the biggest inspiration to get back to what I know is right.


How did you learn about E3live and what have been your results?
I first learned about E3Live when I was living in Southern Oregon, very close to where the AFA is harvested. I met Tamera and Michael, the CEO and President of E3Live, and it was like reuniting with long-lost dear friends. I love knowing that I can easily add a bit of E3Live to my daily routine and get all these high-quality nutrients into my body. I guess I just feel more "alive"—more alert, with more energy.

What's next for you?
I'm creating an immersive experience based on a famous book. I'm also writing music for a solo piano album as well as a set of lullabies for adults.
